A companion CD, distributed by Sony Music Entertainment Canada, features the show’s performers as well as holiday music from Johnny Reid, Rascal Flatts, Dean Brody, Gord Bamford, Darius Rucker, Chad Brownlee, Luke Bryan and Sugarland. ‘Gift of Giving’, the first ever holiday compilation CD from CMT, will be available in-store and online on Tuesday, November 15. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this CD will go to Canadian food banks through Corus Entertainment’s community giving initiative Corus Feeds Kids.

‘Gift of Giving’ will premiere Thursday, December 1 at 8 p.m. on CMT and will repeat throughout December including airings on Saturday, December 24 and Sunday, December 25. The special will also air on YTV, W Network and OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network (Canada).

Toronto, ON; Oct. 31, 2011 – Canadian country music star Chad Brownlee will kick off 2012 on tour with Grammy nominee Dierks Bentley.  Brownlee will open the show with dates throughout west coast Canada.  Tickets will go on sale on Friday November 4, 2011 at 10:00am (local time).

Says Chad Brownlee, “I am so excited to be invited to tour with Dierks.  I hope the fans will really enjoy the new blend of my past singles mixed with a few new tracks off of the new album.  It is going to be an awesome tour and I am honored to be included.”

2011 has been an unforgettable year for BC’s Brownlee, who was the proud recipient of the Canadian Country Music Rising Star Award this past September.  In October he released his latest single “Love Me Or Leave Me ” the title track from his new album set for release on February 14, 2012.  The single dominated the airwaves, shooting to number 1 (Mediabase) as the most added country song in the first week.

With our intimate, accessible and comfortable venue of the Terry Fox Theatre, audiences can find the best seats in the house and the best deals for live, professional performances in Metro Vancouver.

The Coffee Concerts series was created to make high quality, professional level arts accessible to a young, growing community outside of Vancouver, to broaden the appreciation of various styles and genres of music and performance and to provide opportunities to artists. It has become a tradition in Port Coquitlam. Concerts are presented by the Parks and Recreation Department of the City of Port Coquitlam.

Country comes to Port Coquitlam! Former professional hockey player, Chad Brownlee, made his debut onto the music scene in 2009 and has since cracked the Top 20 on the Canadian Country Music radio charts.

The Five Dollar Challenge started as just an idea. What if we could rally people to support a cause using only $5 and a willingness to simply “pay it forward”.
